Cromarty & Resolis Film Society (CRFS)
The CRFS grew out of a community cinema group operating monthly screenings and an annual festival. In 2015 it became a registered charity overseen by a group of Trustees, and in 2020 the Society opened its permanent home the Cromarty Cinema. The cinema is run by a diverse group of 20+ volunteers who are responsible for everything from programming and marketing the films to running the screenings and doing the cleaning! This team operates collectively with the elected Trustees having financial and legal authority. Information on our governance and organisational policies can be found below;
