Extra blockbuster matinees at Cromarty Cinema as ferry service restarts!

You asked – we listened. After suggestions from some of our lovely patrons, to coincide with the great news that the Nigg-Cromarty ferry service will now start in the first week of April, we have added some extra matinee screenings of the month’s biggest films for those who fancy a ferry trip to Cromarty – and indeed everyone else!

On Wednesday the 16th of April, catch Mickey 17, the sci-fi epic from Bong Joon-ho (Parasite). Starring Robert Pattinson, this mind-bending thriller follows a disposable worker on an icy exoplanet who refuses to be replaced. Identity, survival, and the fate of humanity – could the stakes be any higher??

More in the mood for some espionage? On Tuesday the 22nd, Steven Soderbergh’s gripping spy thriller Black Bag comes to the cinema. Michael Fassbender stars as an intelligence officer on the hunt for a mole — only to suspect his own wife, played by Cate Blanchett. Packed with secrets, betrayal, and high-stakes action, this is one thriller you won’t want to miss!

We’ll be trialling these matinees over the next few weeks so we’d love to see lots of you there. So why not make a day of it? Get your cinema tickets at https://cromartycinema.com/films/, the human box office on Thursdays 12-2, or at the door from 30mins before the film starts. The Nigg-Cromarty ferry service runs from 8am to 6pm, operating every 20 to 30 minutes. @highlandferries
