In a public nursing home on the outskirts of Stockholm, a close relationship develops between Monica, a compassionate care worker who still grieves for her grandmother, and Ella -a 99-year-old resident who doesn’t have any close family. With humour and tenderness, their story unveils the ups and downs of ageing and care in late life.

Live Till I Die” tells a story about trying to reconcile with life coming to an end, and to do so with humour, warmth and flying colours. The film challenges our image of what elderly care can be … and what it can become.

We are thrilled to be joined by the documentary’s director Oscar Hedin who will be taking part in a Q&A after the screening.

The film is unrated and universally suited to all. Parents should be aware it does discuss the subject of death.
