Inverness Film Festival 2026

We’re thrilled to share that Cromarty Cinema is taking part in this year’s Inverness (and Cromarty) Film Festival, and we couldn’t be more delighted to bring a little of the festival magic across the water to the Black Isle.
Now in its 24th year, the festival runs from 13 to 19 November and offers a week of brilliant new cinema from Scotland and around the world, from award-winning international features and hidden gems to documentaries and fresh Scottish talent. It’s also a special year, as Eden Court celebrates its 50th anniversary.
We’ll be screening three festival films across the opening weekend, so you can enjoy a taste of the festival right here in Cromarty:

Rose
In the early 17th century, a soldier arrives at an isolated Protestant village in Germany claiming to be the heir…

Minotaur
When Gleb, a successful company director, finds himself under siege from mounting corporate pressures, an increasingly unstable world, and the…

Calle Málaga
An aging Spanish woman in Tangier resists her daughter’s plan to sell her home. She fights to keep her home,…
Three very different films, all well worth the trip. Tickets are available now on the page for each film, and you can explore the full festival programme on the Eden Court website.
We’d love to see you there. Bring a friend, grab a seat, and join us in celebrating great cinema this November!
