A talented piano tuner’s life is turned upside down when he discovers that his meticulous skills for tuning pianos can equally be applied to cracking safes.
It’s a playful movie in form and content, one that rarely takes itself too seriously, and as such, it can’t help but skate by as a pleasurable ride.
Roher’s winsome debut feels more like a throwback to well-written character-driven ’90s dramas like “Good Will Hunting” and “Shine,” or last year’s “Thelma” (which proves the endangered category ain’t dead yet).
